December 2, 2011 - According to IPC North American PCB Statistical Program, rigid PCB shipments were down 9.4% and bookings were up 1.0% in Oct 2011 from Oct 2010. Book-to-bill ratio remained just below parity at 0.99. Flexible circuit shipments in Oct 2011 were down 11.3% and bookings declined 10.3% compared to Oct 2010, while book-to-bill ratio declined to 0.95. For rigid PCBs and flexible circuits combined, industry shipments decreased 9.6% from Oct 2010, as orders booked decreased 0.1%.
